A few items that separate us from our competition are:
a). Our installation team is arguably the best in Pittsburgh. We hire only top-teir professionals who have been in the industry for numerous years. New hires and interns must shadow a senior installer until we determine they are qualified to run a project themselves. We feel the quality of our installations is a major separator between us and our competition.
b). We prefer to use professional equipment in our designs and installations for residential systems. Professional products have longer lifespans, longer warranties, and less headaches associated with them. However, there are manufacturers specifically targeted towards residential clients with unique and innovative products that we continually integrate into homes. In sum, we use higher-end equipment than most of our competitors (unless the customer requests consumer grade equipment).
c). Our team of professionals are intelligent, ethical, and diligent. We do all the little things right: returning phone calls, scheduling walkthroughs and installations around your schedule, arriving on time, training users on the system, etc... Our hourly rate is higher than Best Buy's Geek Squad because the talent we employ require higher salaries. Our employees are industry professionals between the ages of 27 - 52 and we strive to keep the best team at Synergy. That said, our costs are competitive in the professional audiovisual marketplace.

Will Synergy Media Group install a system if I already own the equipment?
Yes, we will install systems were the customer already owns some/all of the equipment.

Do you sell equipment as well as install the system?
Yes, we sell audio, video, switching, and control equipment. Anything you need to complete the system of your dreams can be purchased through Synergy Media Group. In fact, over 90% of our projects require us to design the system, provide the equipment, and install it.
