1. What
is the difference between a home theater and a media room?
A home theater is a dedicated room with a large screen, a projection
system, surround sound, and theater-style seating. A media room
is a living room, bedroom, game room, etc.... with a home theater
system seemlessly integrated into it. The majority of the time
people will use the two terms interchangably.

2. Why should I install
structured cabling, home theaters, etc... during a new construction
or remodeling environment?
Even though you can install structured cabling, home theater,
etc... any time, it is more cost effective to do it during the
new construction or remodeling phases. This is due to the fact
that a large number of cables need to be pulled throughout the
house to distribute data, video, and audio. Also, we can coordinate
with the construction company to insure that they use the materials
needed to create an ideal environment.

4. What is the difference
between HDTV and EDTV?
HDTV (High Definition Television) is what you want in your home
theater. This may get a little confusing for the average home
theater buyer, so we'll keep it generic. HDTV delivers a much
higher resolution than EDTV (Extended Definition Television).
The picture will look sharper and the colors will have a higher
contrast. Overall, the quality of the picture difference is
noticable. Lastly, in two years, all tv will be in HD, so you
might as well buy an HDTV now so you don't have to upgrade from
your ED two years from now.
